I only use a few leave-ins and styling products:
MegaGrowth Profectiv Daily Leave-in Strengthner *what a mouthful* I use this as a leave-in and also as a moisturiser sometimes when I have rollerset or flat-ironed hair. I also have the Beautiful Textures Tangle Taming Leave-In Conditioner (why are these names so long?), this is my holy grail in leave-ins, I use it all the time on partially air-dried hair, it smells heavenly and leaves my hair very soft. I am about half-way through the bottle, as far as I know this conditioner is not sold in South Africa, I bought mine in Switzerland. The Motions CPR Triple Action Leave-In Conditioner I have had forever and I hardly ever use it, I found that it did nothing for my hair and the consistency was just off, I will definitely not repurchase, I want to finish it soon (I am really not keen on throwing away stuff that I bought with my hard earned cash).
Onto styling products now, I have the CHI 44 Iron Guard which is a heat protectant, I use it before I blowdry or flat iron my hair. I recently bought the Schwarzkopf Smooth ‘n Shine Conditioning Foam Wrap – first of all I was so amazed that Schwarzkopf has a whole range for ‘black’ hair – the range even has relaxers, moisturisers, shampoos etc – I have used the foam wrap once when I did a perm rod set, I plan on using it again for rollersets and flexi-rod sets when I get around to doing those.
Now you just increased my desire to try the Beautiful textures leave-in…heheehhehehehehhehe

Hey. So happy to find another SA relaxed hair blog. Anyway, how is the Schwarzkopp foam? Cost? Ingredients? I saw the line on tv the other day and now I’m curious to try them. Also, have you found a place where you can buy a pair of shears? I’ve beeeeeen looking and I’m not finding anything at all. Only place I see them is with the whole hair clipper set

The Schwarzkopf foam worked well for me, but I’ve only used it once. I bought it for around R50, i can’t remember the exact price.
i haven’t started looking for haor shears yet – I’m still scared of chopping off my hair, and i don’t trust just anyone to do it. have you tried dischem?
Yeah, tried Dischem. Even asked the staff and looked at me like I had 3 eyes on my face. Then I thought Kalahari would have but to no avail 🙁 I also don’t trust anyone with my hair
