Wet n Wild cosmetics launched in South Africa a couple of years ago – they are exclusively available at Clicks. I have been an avid collector of the range, I especially love their lipsticks especially the matte formulations. They are known to be dupes of some high end lipsticks. I find that most of them are highly pigmented and they have lasting power. They cost less than R50 – that is a bargain in my books.

I decided to show my collection of 8 in video format, making videos is hard y’all in a nice way if you know what I mean. My lips felt raw after having to take off lipstick every 3 minutes. I hope you enjoy it. To show the true colour, I haven’t used any lipliners and I have applied them from lightest to darkest. Towards the end, my lips did get stained, but I don’t think that this affects the dark lipsticks.

The Wet ‘n Wild lipsticks that I own are: (ordered in the same order as the video)

[su_list icon=”icon: star” icon_color=”#f2004c”]

  • Pinkerbell
  • Coral-ine
  • Wine Room
  • Spiked with Rum
  • Cherry Picking
  • Spotlight Red
  • Ferguson Crest Cabernet (part of the Fergie collection, I bought this one in Bangkok)
  • Cherry Bomb[/su_list]

Which colour lipsticks do you usually gravitate to?

Oh yeah, I love the nudes. When doing the video, it was the first time that I had used WINE ROOM – it was still sealed (and I bought it over a year ago). lol! It’s an awesome colour

  3. Yay! Videos look so hard to do especially if you want good quality. I liked the last few colors you tried. Great job.
