Going to Cape Town never gets old. I make a point to go there as often as I can. The last time I was there was 2 years ago, so another trip was definitely overdue. Even though I spent 4 years living in Cape Town while I was at UCT, being in Cape Town as a working person (read I have more money) is very different from when I was a student where I spent most of my days in the lab or computer room. On this current trip we went up to the top of Table Mountain on a cable car – I hadn’t done that before, I had been up once before and we walked all the way up and all the way down – my whole body was crying in pain after that experience. We also went to some wine farms for lunch and wine tasting. Check out the highlights…

I am sooo nostalgic right now!! I didn’t know that you are a UCT’an, when did you grad? I was there until 2011 and I totally miss it.. Although I think living and visiting Cape Town are two different experiences… those rainy windy days…
Your photos are looking amazing, hope you had fun!
Giiirrrlll, you are a youngster, I graduated in 2006 – I am feeling extra old right now.
I agree, living there is a totally different experience, I wouldn’t move there. But visiting now and again is fun
Lool not that young and 2006 is still very recent 🙂
Those images of the Cable Car to Table Mountain and the the sunset pic are absolutely breathtaking! I’ve been to the Cape a couple of times, but never up table mountain- YOU INSPIRED me to do that when I go next, it looks absolutely gorgeous! Great picture quality! yay!
🙂 Great post! Pictures really can do all the talking for you!
Thanks Katli 🙂 – you should really go up Table Mountain next time you’re in Cape Town. The views are to die for.
Wow! You definitely had a swell time. I should add Cape Town to my list of destinations.
