I took a 3 week break over December to spend with my family and friends. I was in full on relaxed mode and was not wearing any makeup. There were a few items that were my favourites, these items made me look put together even though I was very chilled. In this post I share some of my favourite summertime items.

Sunglasses (Mr Price, R60) I love these shades from Mr Price, they’re so funky and cool. I love that when I wear them – they elevate my look.

Sephora rose lip balm (Sephora, $6)  A friend of mine bought me this lipgloss from the US – it has been in my bag since I received it. It leaves my lips very moisturised and I love the smell. I’ve already gone through half the lipgloss in 3 months, I will be buying more when I am next in a country with Sephora.

Sandals (Woolworths, R160) These have been my shoes of choice for this season, I wear them all the damn time! I like that they are slip ons and they pretty much go with any outfit I wear.

Glamglow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating moisturiser (Edgars, R750) This has been my moisturiser of choice for the past 5 months now. I love that it gives my skin a glow even when I’m not wearing any makeup.

LA Girl Shady Slim Brow Pencil (Dischem, R85) Even though I wasn’t wearing a lot of makeup over the holiday, I made sure that my brows were done when I stepped out the house. This product was my pencil of choice, I’ve written about it more here.
