This past year has been such a rollecoaster and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Your laugh is the most beautiful sound in the world and I want to hear it all day every day.
When I come back from work, the first thing I need to do is take off my makeup and my wig so that you can explore (read scratch, eat, slap) my face and bite on my hair with no abandon.
I love how your face lights up when you see me in the morning and when I come back from work. Seeing you so happy to see melts my heart.
Your determination is unmatched, when you want to do something I can usually see if from your laser focus, followed by a leap into that direction. You don’t let the fact that you have short arms and legs stop you from getting anywhere.
Gqom’ is your favourite music genre – whenever you hear a gqom song you lose your mind and dance very off-beat throwing in a random vosho in your routine.
You love food and will eat anything that is offered to you or anything that you pick off the ground. When we’re together the words that come out my mouth most often are: “Please don’t eat that”
You are sooo excited to wake up each morning, you wake up with the hugest smile on your face, ready to take on the day. You have managed to rub off some of that morning enthusiasm on me 🙂
I could fill a book with all the wonderful memories of your first year of life but for now let me say: thank you for coming into this world through me my little bunny, I am so happy and grateful to be your mom!

You’re so right, nothing can prepare one for such, it is such a crazy ride. I really can’t imagine her being more naughty than she is now! I am not ready.
