I have a number of new skincare products in my arsenal, most of which were purchased while I was in Thailand. The beauty/skincare industry is huge in Asia and there is a wide variety of products to choose from. The products that I’ve bought are geared towards me trying out the 10 step Korean skincare regimen – I’m still at baby steps for now, I do not plan to do the whole thing, because there are a lot of steps, but I am picking and choosing what I think is best for my skin.
I went a bit wild on my recent trip to Bangkok and I bought a whole load of sheet masks. There were just sooo many options at great prices, it was hard to pass up. I got all kinds of varieties from: brightening, anti-oxidant, whitening (which I’m a bit scared of), soothing, anti-ageing. Now that I have so many masks I plan to use them more frequently that I have been.
My first foray into sleep masks was last year when my friends bought me the Sephora sleep masks, I was immediately hooked. I stocked up on more of the Sephora masks and also bought the Laneige water sleep mask and the lip sleeping mask.
I received the Serra Lipid Recovery Mask from Lamelle. I am also using this product as a sleeping mask as well. I have used it twice so far, I plan to use it a bit more before I do a review of it. This product is aimed for dry skin – which I don’t have, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with getting extra moisture for my skin.
These are not really skincare but I want to add them here for you guys to see them. I bought the hand, foot and lip masks from Sephora as well. I am not really expecting much from these masks in terms of results because I didn’t buy that many but I thought it would be fun to try them out.
I swore off toners a few years ago because back then the only toners that I knew of in the market were the alcohol laden ones that made my skin feel super tight after using them. I have since learnt about exfoliating toners and the likes which I think will be beneficial for my skin. I recently bought this COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid (I have it on my desk still in it’s packaging as I write this), I am excited to use it and see the effects it will have on my skin.
I am planning to write a blogpost on my adapted Korean 10 step sincare routine, you can look out for that in upcoming posts. Also, let me know if you want a specific review on any of my new products.
