Yay! It’s the end of 2014 – time to roll in 2015 and see what it has in store.
My December haul is full of items that I actually needed (yipeee!) – I am working my way to a workable product stash with not so many extra things that I only use oooooonce in a while.
I replenished my oil stash – I repurchased my favourite coconut oil from Lifestyle Foods – it was on sale at the time, so I helped myself to 2 tubs because I love this stuff and I use it for my hair as well as my skin. I bought the 400ml for R50. I buy the fragrance free one so that I don’t end up smelling like coconut. I also bought jojoba oil, it’s the first time I will be using this oil, I have only heard good things about it – so I am excited. For essential oils, I bought geranium oil – it smells so good! I will add it to my oil mixes both for my skin and my hair.
I decided to switch up my hair, skin and nails from the Vital ones to this Nativa pack – these new ones have more MSM (Methyl Sulphonyl Methane) and they have horsetail and kelp extracts. I have become really good at taking these pills on a daily basis – and I can see the difference in my body, especially my nails.
I bought some glycerine to put in my braids moisturising spritz.
Towards the end of the month – I popped in to my favourite hair shop and bought some ORS No-Lye Normal Strength Relaxer in prep for my upcoming touch up in over a week. I decided not to repurchase the Body Shop Rainforest Shampoo that I had, instead I bought this Auntie Jackie’s Oh So Clean! Moisturising & Softening Shampoo which was recommended to me. I bought some hair dye – not for my hair but I want to experiment with dyeing a lace front wig that I have. I also got a sachet of ORS Creamy Aloe Shampoo to use as a clarifying shampoo.
I am most excited about the relaxer purchase this month – I can’t wait for relaxer day!
I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the page layout of your website? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 images. Maybe you could space it out better?|
