Hi everyone, happy hump day! I had a quick wash day on Sunday evening. The highlight of this wash day was the minimal tangling of my hair even though I am at 13 weeks post relaxer *yay*. I also had very few shed hairs. After my last wash day when I used my steamer, my hair felt super soft, the only other moisturising I did was the LCO method on 4 days after the wash day using the steamer as the ‘L’.
Prepoo: Coconut oil under my heating cap for 30 minutes
Shampoo: Aunt Jackie’s Oh So Clean Moisturising & Softening Shampoo
Instant DC: Watsons RepairingTreatment Conditioner with Honey
DC: CareBeau Beer and Egg Yolk Treatment Wax using my steamer. Honestly, this is not one of my favourite conditioners at all. I am trying to use it up. I think it is best to use if I am going to have a low manipulation week in between my washes. Next time I use it, I will mix in some oils to see if it makes a difference.
Leave-Ins: Beautiful Textures Tangle Taming Leave-In Conditioner and Motions CPR Triple Action Leave-In Conditioner
Moisture and Sealing: AfroBotanics Conditining Moisturiser and Oilve Oil
Styling: I did two rows of really really not so up to scratch Benny & Betty plaits (apologies if you’re not South African, I don’t know another word for these types of plaits). It doesn’t matter though because I have my hair under a wig for the next 2 weeks before my next wash day.
On another note: I am due another empties post *yay* – I have a few more products that I want to finish to make it a worthwhile post. That should be coming up in the next 2 weeks. I am also really proud of myself that I haven’t done a haul post since February 🙂 – I have bought hair products along the way, but they have all been replacements in kind of a product that has finished, ok well – except for one *blush* – does the steamer count? oh shucks, let me stop – maybe I haven’t been as good as I thought I was!

LOL! I can totally relate to that chica! Every wash day that I empty something, I do a happy dance, then realize that I haven’t even put a dent into my stash!
