I am one of those people who does not like to moisturise my body after my evening shower. It feels like a waste and all the lotion is just going to each up on my bedding – at least that’s my logic anyway. On the other hand, I love moisturised skin and I say NO! to being ashy. In comes in shower body moisturisers, I can moisturise while I’m in the shower, dry up and slip straight into my PJs – no mess no fuss. Sounds like a winner to me.
I’ve been using only one variation of in shower body moisturisers (ISBM) for a few years now, it was working well for me and I loved it. However, I like a bit of variation in my life, so I decided to find more inexpensive ones. This one is bae, I’ve been using it for a while now. It applies on smoothly, leaves my skin feeling nourished and it smells divine. There is another version for normal skin.
This product is not a moisturiser per se, it’s a shower oil, however it contains 55% natural oils. I use it as an ISBM and I’ve found that it does leave my skin moisturised.
I’m still on the fence about this one from Oh So Heavenly, I have been using it for 2 weeks. It has a weird paste like consistency so it almost applies like clay on the body and it some cases I really need to rub to get it off. However, it gives great moisturisation and keeps my skin feeling soft. They should really make a plan about the formula though.
What do you use to keep your skin soft overnight? Do you use in shower body moisturisers?
you know I feel the same way about lotion… only I feel that it wastes precious time (especially in the morning) also its just a tedious task nje… I have tried the shower oil and oh so heavenly love the smell though but I still get ashy (especially my toes)… I will try the first one and see if it works for me… thanks for the share
You’re welcome Lebo. I somehow am not lazy at all about moisturising in the morning. The 1st one is my fave <3
I got into these last winter bcs I’d just wanna get my clothes on ASAP bcs it’s cold at the gym!But I’ve pretty much used them all year. General ashyness decreases with time. Great post.
Oh yes! They are a godsent in the winter
I knew of the shower oils but didn’t know there were in shower moisturizers. Thanks for the info.
You’re welcome 😉
