I have been struggling to find the right foundation for my skin for the past few months now. I have mentioned before how my skin has been changing colour since the end of last year and thus the foundations that I bought then are pretty much of now use now. I have to mix with a lighter foundation in order to get a close match to my skin colour. I got tired of mixing liquid foundations and I wanted something quick and simple to use on my face in the morning – I take forever to get ready, so I try to save some time where I can.

I went through to Red Square at La Lucia Mall to get this magical product that will solve all my problems. Initially I wanted a BB cream/tinted moisturiser, however because of the different colours on my face, I need a product with more coverage than these babies. That is how I ended up choosing a stick foundation.

I’ve never used a stick foundation before, so I was quite intrigued. I have been using it for 2 weeks now and I really, really like it. It is so easy to apply and blend out, I am done doing my face in no time. The colour match is also very great. This stick foundation is my first Bobbi Brown purchase and I can assure you that I will be back for more.

I took pictures of my face before applying the foundation, after the application and one of my whole face done up. I am in the colour warm almond 6.5, the foundation cost R460.

I kept the rest of my face pretty simple and neutral, and here is the final look…

You’re welcome Lebo. I also love the simplicity of stick foundation

It is one of my favourite foundation sticks to use in the winter time! The coverage you get for this thing is AMAZING!!! Look at how flawless and beautiful you look! My shade is 6.5 Warm Almond too, but is slightly more “orangey” on me, as I’m a little lighter, but I cant use the shade before because its too dark. But the beauty is that after I put it on it oxidizes after a few minutes and when I set it with the Press Powder also from BB, it levels out to the shade perfect for me. I love it, It’s a holy grail item in my makeup kit.

You look gorgeous! You MUST try the Sheer Finish Pressed Powder next, as a setting powder! It’s out of this world!

Great post! I’m a BB fan so you can imagine how excited I was to read this!! 🙂

I’ve seen a lot of BB products on your blog & youtube channel, you had me drooling at some of them. On the day I bought the foundation, the lady at the BB counter did my whole face with BB products and I was soo impressed, it’s definitely a good brand. I will lookout for the Pressed Powder
