I started taking good care of my hair in October 2012 when I was still a student, and you know that during student days money is tight! So I couldn’t always afford to buy the hair care products that I wanted and I somehow had it in my head that good products had to be expensive. Today I have changed my tune and I know that one can get good and affordable hair care products in South Africa off the shelf.
I have recently put up these infographics on my instagram page and they received a lot of love; so I decided to share them on the blog as well. All the products listed can be found at Clicks, Dischem and Game. The list is by no means exhaustive, there are other products available to us out there; these are just the ones that I chose to feature. If there is another hair care product category that you think I should feature; please jot down your suggestion in the comments section.
What are your some of your favourite easy to find and affordable products?
I want the AfroBotanics range but I can’t find it this side. Thanks for the information.
I also thought that good hair products have to be expensive in the beginning
… Little did I know. Thanks for sharing
Good day Lungi, really like your posts. Please assist with South African online stores. I can’t find janaican castor oil anywhere.
Hi Mpho, thank you 🙂
You can try mzansifro.co.za – they might have some JBCO. Have you looked for it at Dischem?
