I don’t even know where to begin writing this post, I’ve had so many drafts that I have written and re-written and none of them seem ‘perfect’. My husband and I are expecting our first child π – I have been cooking this little one inside of me since last year. Pregnancy hasn’t been easy for me at all – I really didn’t know what to expect, but being sick all the time and not really feeling like myself was not what I expected, but it’s what I got. I have great respect for people who go through this multiple times; but maybe they are the lucky ones who have easy pregnancies. Even with all the downsides and bad symptoms I have experienced, I am very excited for this new adventure in our lives.
We have decided to keep this part of our lives out of social media and the internet, but you can imagine that as a blogger, it is getting increasingly harder for me to hide this giant stomach of mine. So I got a hall pass to share some details of my pregnancy on my blog and YouTube channel – I filmed a video where I answer questions from a pregnancy tag. I hope you guys enjoy the video, and if you have any advice for me as a new mother, I would love to hear it! You can comment on this post or on the video.
I am so excited for you friend! I can’t wait to meet my niece or nephew!

Guess who has a baby in the oven. Congratulations Dear! Motherhood is wonderful but whew, your life changes completely. Advice: enjoy as much me time as possible because when baby arrives, life is going to revolve around caring for this little person. Super happy for you.

Yay! Congratulations Lungi. I love that you’ve chosen to keep it private. Rest as much as you can because once that bundle of joy arrives, your life is over. Kidding! Motherhood is a beautiful thing.
Thank you Ika! I am definitely trying to get as much rest as I can – I am looking forward to motherhood.
