In the last few weeks I somehow bought a number of items from the Clinique brand, there have been a few products from the brand which have caught my eye and I finally decided to take the plunge and buy them. When I buy big ticket items for my makeup/beauty stash I try to align them to a time when the brand is having a special/promotion. If I am spending a lot of money, I want to get some sort of “reward” – I did this with Estee Lauder last year, and this time around, it is Clinique.
Beyond Perfecting Foundation and Concealer I saw this foundation on US YouTube a few months ago and I was immediately intrigued at it being a foundation and concealer in one, I have never used such a product before. I haven’t used it as yet apart from trying it on my chin at the Clinique counter, I’ll probably use it on my next YouTube makeup look – so look out for that if you want to see how it performs. The foundation retails for R540, I got mine in the colour 24 Golden D-G.
Take the day off cleansing balm Another product I have been eyeing, I want to compare it the cleansing butter from The Body Shop which I have been using for a while. I prefer using these types of makeup removers instead of liquids/oils – thus I want to try this one out and see how I like it. The balm retails for R295.
Even Better Clinical™ Dark Spot Corrector & Optimizer I have been looking to add another serum to my skincare routine. I’ve been using the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair since September 2016 and it has been working well for me but I still wanted to add one more. My skin’s problem areas are dark spots and an uneven skin tone, I am hoping that this product will help me with that. The 50ml serum retails for R795.
Clinique was running a promotion where if you buy 2 or more products one of which being a treatment your receive a bag filled with some testers.
If you guys want a review on any of the products that I bought, let me know.
