I must admit that even though I have lived in Durban for over 5 years now, I have never attended the House and Garden Show. Well, that all changed this year as I went to check out the show this past weekend. What I liked most about the show was that it covers a lot of areas from home, food and garden – so there is something for everyone. We mostly walked around to check out the different exhibitors, bought some items (hello fudge!) and ate some food. Check out some pictures that I took at the show.

The House and Garden Show runs from 30 June to 09 July 2017 at the Durban Exhibition Centre, entrance cost is R85 and they have student and senior discounts. You can check out more from the show on their Twitter, Facebook and Instagram feeds.

So much beautiful furniture

Yummy

A few of the food vendors, I bought a jar of this pesto, it is so delicious, I must get more.

Of course I had to buy some fudge – it is my weakness!

There are various areas to take a break and get a bite, I liked that there was a lot of food to choose from.

This is a complete apartment in a shipping container.

Quite compact, but liveable if you are into that modern, minimalist life.

Giirrrlll, I felt the same. I wished that I had a mansion so that I could channel all the decor inspiration that I got at the show.
