I love me some hummus, it’s one of my favourite healthy snacks. I love to have it with vegetables, crackers, chicken etc., even my daughter loves it so that’s a plus in my books. I used to buy hummus from Woolworths until I discovered how easy it is to make at home and I’ve been doing that for a while now and I wanted to share the recipe with you.

This is such an easy recipe to make, I pull it off in 10 minutes. The other great thing is that it is easily customisable, so you can add other things (basil, olives, roasted peppers) that you love to give it that extra oomph!

You will notice that I do not add tahini to my hummus, this is mainly because tahini is expensive and the hummus tastes just as great without it. I have thought about making my own tahini – but that’s a recipe for another day.

Et voila!

This is such an easy recipe and so delicious, it doesn’t last that long in my household.
