It is clearly travel week on my blog this week! I recently spent 10 days in Cape Town for mostly work purposes but you guys know I do try to squeeze in some play time in between all the work I do. Cape Town in the summer time is more gorgeous than always and I always enjoy being in the city during the warmer months.

I really enjoyed the lewks I served when I was away, whether it was a full face beat or a no makeup day.

Aperol Spritz

An aperol spritz – my sister introduced me to this drink & I’ve been loving it

Views in Cape Town are amazing! Whether you’re in the city center or on a wine farm somewhere. Over the weekends I was there I met up with Muthoni from MyNaturawl at a rooftop bar at Capital Hotels and I also went out with friends to Beau Constantia wine farm

Speaking of wine farms, I met up with fellow YouTuber Tsholo for a wine tasting session at Steenberg Wine Farm. It was such a nice afternoon out, we actually ended up doing bubbly tasting instead of wine tasting.

I really enjoyed the decor at Steenberg, this chandelier is absolutely gorgeous

Cape Town V&A Waterfront

A visit to Cape Town is not complete without a trip to the Waterfront!

Cheers!

Aperol spritz (plural) are such a blogger drink! I didn’t know they were available here so one time I was at a PR event I started blabbering to my contact about how all the UK blogger are aperol crazy lol. You did the damned thing with you CapeTown content. Loved the stories and IG posts; teach us how to balance travel for work with a bit of play!

I also didn’t know that aperol spritz was a thing – my sister put me on in December. Balance is a myth in my life – I was so busy in Cape Town I barely had time to myself but I had so many things on my to do list!
