I don’t know how and when it started but I suddenly found myself being a coffee person. It started off by me going off Ricoffy/Frisco and moving on to Jacob’s Kroning, that ended up not being enough and I graduated to cappuccinos from coffee shops. My cappuccino habit became too expensive after a while (R25/day) and that’s when I decided to buy myself a coffee machine.

I decided to buy the Dolce Gusto machine (which was one of my favourite items of 2018) and I’m still loving it.

I’ve been finding myself loving stronger coffee by the day – I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing 🙂 – I’m really into the Dolce Gusto Cappuccino Intenso capsules.

And during summer time I looove making cappuccino ice, it’s such a refreshing drink on those sweltering Durban mornings.

I discovered that another brand of coffee capsules can be used on the machine using an adapter and I immediately jumped on that. The Espresto capsules are a bit more boujie than the Dolce Gusto capsules and they have much more variety so I’ve added those to my rotation.
