The MAC Shiny Pretty Things Face Compact was that one product that I didn’t know I needed until after I bought it. It was an impulse buy which has turned out to be one of my favourite products. It was part of the holiday collection and by the time I came to buy it, it was on special, score!

The face compact consists of a highlighter, blush and bronzer – these are all the face products that I use after setting my foundation. I bought compact in Medium Deep. The products in the compact are:

Extra Dimension SkinFinish – Soul Glow This highlighter is on the yellow side and I love it. It’s so smooth and applies flawlessly. It is build able and I can wear it on my not so glam and also on my full glam days.

Extra Dimension Blush – Carolers The blush is a mix of pink and coral. It provides a feint colour to the cheeks and it also has some sheen, so be careful not to apply too much.

Extra Dimension Bronzer – Quick Trio The bronzer and the highlighter were the main reasons I bought this product; I didn’t have a bronzer in my collection. I love this bronzer because it provides warmth to my face and it’s not as harsh as contour. My one negative about it is that I really need to work to get the product on to the brush.

I love the MAC Shiny Pretty Things Face Compact and I use it on multiple occasions during the week – it’s also a great product to take along on your travels. Unfortunately this product is not available any more, crossing fingers it will be restocked in time for the holidays.
