When I saw the Bioderma Pigmentbio range being slowly revealed on the Bioderma Instagram page – I was immediately intrigued. My skin is currently acting up and has developed more hyperpigmentation after going through a hormonal acne phase so a hyperpigmentation range is right up my alley. I was lucky to be sent all the products in the Pigmentbio range and I want to share information about the products with you and also reveal my thoughts on the products.
What Bioderma says:
“Under the effects of sun, pollution, ageing, pregnancy, or irritation, skin accumulates marks and dark spots, as reflection of time passing. Behind these pigmentation disorders: an unusual melanin overproduction that alters the original complexion. Inspired by the leading treatment in dermatology, Pigmentbio offers a comprehensive routine for sensitive skin wanting to combat pigmentation problems effectively. Its LumiReveal™ Technology acts on key steps of pigmentation: to reduce dark spots, prevent new ones from appearing and restore the skin’s original brightness, lastingly. Its unique balance between efficacy and tolerance ensures immediate and long lasting results, while respecting skin sensitivity.“

The products in the Bioderma Pigmentbio range are:
Brightening micellar water (R222) Cleanses, removes makeup and evens out dark spots
Foaming cream (R210) Brightening cleanser that exfoliates, evens out and illuminates
Daily care SPF 50+ (R360) Brightening daily care with vitamin C, E and PP
Night renewer (R400) Brightening overnight care
Sensitive areas (R200) Targeted brightening care for darks spots in external intimate and friction areas
I am particularly interested in the Sensitive areas product as it is specifically formulated for body use, I’m planning to use it on my under arms after shaving. It can also be used on knees, elbows, neck, thighs and groin. I am also going to immediately start using the micellar water and the night renewer in my morning and night routines.

The foaming cream sounds interesting. But the range is definitely NOT in my affordability lane. Looking forward to hearing how the body product works for you.
I’ll do a follow up post about it once I’ve used it for long enough
You’re a skincare junkie too, yay! I’ve been dying to try Bioderma – thanks to you, I may just get it sooner rather than later and give it a go!
Hi LungiTrust you’re well :)how did this range work out for you?especially the foaming cream and sensitive area cream.thanks 🙂
Hi Delrice, I’m doing well. I’ve loved using the foaming cream – it’s a gentle exfoliant. I’ve had to stop using it for now though because I’m on Accutane. I’ve only used the sensitive cream once, so I can’t really comment on it. I didn’t quite like the sunscreen / day cream, I used it for a few weeks and I had to stop. Hope this helps.
Thank you so much
You’re welcome
Hi there ! Its 2 weeks now using this product I dont see any improvement.
Hey Nthabiseng. Our skin typically takes 5-6 weeks to regenerate. So at least use a product consistently for that long and then judge if it works for you or not.
