Products that claim to be miracle products usually have me running for the hills! However I decided to try the Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner out because I received it in PR and it was travel size so I would have a quick review because the bottle would finish quite quickly.

What is it?
It’s a miracle toner containing 10,000 ppm of natural tea tree extracts which is relatively rich content. It dramatically improves your skin without irritation.

What they say…
Exfoliating
Pore and skin waste care
Inflammation
Moisturizing
Whitening / Wrinkle improvement

Ingredients
Water, Butylene Glycol, Dipropylene Glycol, Glycerin, Niacinamide, Melaleuca Altermifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Extract, Polyglyceryl-4 Caprate, Carica Papaya(Papaya) Fruit Extract, Lens Esculenta (Lentil) Seed Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Nelumbo Nucifera Flower Extract, Swiftlet Nest Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Fructan, Allantoin, Adenosine, Hydroxyethyl Urea, Xylitol, Salicylic Acid, Lactobionic Acid, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Benzyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Raspberry Ketone, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil

How I use it
I applied the toner to my skin using my hands in a patting motion. I used it interchangeably in my morning and evening skincare routine.

My thoughts
Let me start off by saying I don’t think that this toner is a miracle product and you shouldn’t expect it to perform miracles when using it. It is packed with ingredients which I love, such as: niacinamide, salicylic acid, sodium hyaluronate and citric acid. Some of the ingredients like: tea tree leaf extract and witch hazel extract I’m not a big fan of.

The concentration of the active ingredients: AHA and BHA were lower in this toner than products that I’m currently using so this toner didn’t provide a remarked improvement in my skin.

I’d recommend it for people who are starting out using acids, this would be a great place to start but if you are already using stronger acids you can give this product a miss.

The cost
You can buy this toner at resellers of K-Beauty products in South Africa. It costs R450 for 150ml.
