I get sooo excited when I use a product till the bitter end – it’s a feeling that I can’t explain. This empties post comes in the heels of my last one because I had a bunch of product which were nearly finished when I publish my latest empties. So here’s what has been cleared off my makeup storage, shower and bathroom storage in the last few months.

Brow Styler I’m here for this brow gel, I use it as a finishing step in my brow routine. It sets my brows in place and adds a bit more colour to them. I also use it to retouch my eyebrows after using the Maybelline Tattoo Brow. I will definitely be repurchasing.

Essence Volume Hero Mascara I didn’t enjoy using this mascara, it always managed to transfer to my skin and mess up my foundation and eyeshadow. Definitely never repurchasing.

Bobbi Brown Skin Long-wear Weightless Foundation This foundation finished so quickly! I didn’t even realise I was using it so often. It was an OK foundation for me, nothing to write home about. I won’t be repurchasing it.

Fenty Beauty ProFilt’r Foundation I don’t need to say much about this foundation, you guys know that I love it. I already purchased a new one when I was in Australia because I knew I was coming to the end of my current bottle.

Skindinavia The Makeup Finishing Spray I bought this spray based on Twitter hype about it being the makeup sprays of all makeup sprays. It was said to litreally glue make up onto your face for the whole day – it was mostly targeted for bridal. I didn’t think that this spray was all that, it performed comparably to the other makeup finishing sprays I have used in the past. I will not be repurchasing.

skincare products for oily acne prone skin

Bioderman Purifying Cleansing Foaming Gel I have reviewed this product in depth, click here to read my thoughts.

The Inkey List Zinc Moisturiser I enjoyed using this moisturiser, it was the first time in a while that I used a joint moisturiser and sunscreen. I also love that it has hyaluronic acid – you guys know I’m all about hydration. I would repurchase this product.

Eucerin Sun Fluid Mattifying SPF 50+ I am a die hard fan of sunscreen especially the ones from Eucerin. This one is good if your skin is oily, it sinks in well into the skin and most importantly: does not leave a white cast! I would repurchase this product.

Ponds Flawless Radiance Brightening Micellar Water My stance on micellar water is that I don’t really see the major difference between the different brands. As long as it is gentle on my skin and doesn’t leave my skin dry – I’m game. So usually it comes down to the price. I would repurchase this product.

The Ordinary 30% AHA + 2% BHA Peeling Solution My very first at home peeling product. This product works super well and does wonders from my glow! I have already bought a replacement.

The Ordinary 5% Lactic Acid This was my first foray into the land of acids and K-Beauty. This product worked well for my skin initially. I do think that my skin got used to it eventually. I will be repurchasing this product but the 10% variant.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream I’m the queen of having reviews for all my empties… talk about being a thorough & consistent queen! Click here for a review on this product.

*African Extracts Day Cream SPF 15 An okay moisturiser, it worked well on my skin.

Clicks Skin Essentials Facial Wipes I’ve been using the wipes for a while now, I was happy with them and I always end up repurchasing. But a few weeks ago I bought another brand of wipes which changed my life! And thus, I won’t be repurchasing these ones. Look out for the life-changing ones in my next empties post.

*SomeByMi 30 Day Miracle Toner I have an in-depth review about this products here. (aaahhh! I forgot to take a photo of this products)

bath and body products for winter

Woolworths Fresh Delights Shower Gel & Handcream I loooove the scent of this range from Woolworths, I continually but these 2 products and I will keep on repurchasing them. The shower gel makes my shower smell so yummy and I always get so many compliments when I use the handcream. I even had my French teacher loving this scent, I bought it for her as a going away present.

*Johnsons Vita-Rich Body Lotion This body lotion was good on the skin but I found that it left my hands tacky when I used it as a hand cream. So would only recommend as a body lotion.

Johnsons Vita-Rich Smoothies Bodywash I love these shower gels (both variants), they are always on rotation in my shower – I always keep on repurchasing.

*Theranaka African Daybreak Body Butter This body butter is soooo rich and luxurious, I really loved how it applied on the body and smelt divine! I recommend it.

hair products for natural hair south africa

*Tresemme Botanique Conditioner This conditioner is good, great slip and leaves my hair feeling moisturised and soft. It’s definitely a good replacement for the Tresemme Naturals Range that was discontinued. I recommend this products.

*Shea Moisture Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Intensive Hydration Hair Masque This deep conditioner was okay, it did a good job at conditioning my hair. I think there are better deep conditioners out there. I wouldn’t recommend this one.

*Design Essentials Almond & Avocado Moisturizing & Detangling Sulfate Free Shampoo This is a great shampoo – it was so gentle on my hair and cleans it thoroughly. I would definitely repurchase.

Have you used any of these products?
