In February 2016 I posted a nut granola recipe that I was making and enjoying at that time. I’ve recently started making another homemade muesli which is much more affordable than the original one and is just as yummy. I enjoy this muesli as a snack with plain yoghurt and some berries if I’m feeling extra that day.
This recipe is 100% customisable, that is why I won’t be prescribing measurements of the different ingredients. You will have to play it by ear and use your judgement, I can assure you that there is no way you can get this wrong.

Ingredients
- Oats
- Nuts (pecans, walnuts, almonds)
- Sunflower seeds
- Dried fruit
- Cinammon and nutmeg
- Coconut oil
Method
Mix all ingredients in a bowl except for the dried fruit. Add mixture to a baking pan. Bake at 180 degrees C for 15 minutes. Add dried fruit. Allow to completely cool before transferring to an airtight container.
Enjoy!

The best thing about this recipe is that it’s added sugar free, the only sugars you get are from the dried fruit – you can make it totally sugar free by omitting it.
Let me know if you try this homemade muesli recipe out and what you think of it.
Yum yum I like this. I’ll actually try it. My son loves muesli
Yay! Let me know what Mlondi says
