Somehow I am now an iced coffee person, 2 years ago I couldn’t stand the taste of cold coffee and now here I am. I’m not sure what changed but I’m sure glad it did because I can’t imagine my life without it right now. I started off buying iced coffee capsules for my Dolce Gusto machine and a few weeks ago I decided to make it myself from scratch and it’s so yummy. So this post will be my flavoured iced coffee recipe.
You’re basically going to need: iced water, milk, coffee and flavouring. BOOM! DONE!
I use instant coffee for this recipe (not a coffee snob), if I’m having it in the afternoon, I use decaf.

For flavouring, I enjoy using these syrups from Nettari. I only put a splash because I don’t like my coffee too sweet. You don’t have to have syrups, plain sugar will also do.
I also like using the milk frother to ensure everything is well mixed and to create some foam for ambience.

When it comes to milk, I use cow milk, I’ve seriously tried switching to diary alternatives but they taste vile! I suppose you can use almond milk, coconut milk or oat milk if you so wish.
Measurements are a myth in this flavoured iced coffee recipe, just add and mix until you hear a whisper from the ancestors to stop. It’s a truly customisable recipe.
Not a whisper from the ancestors ! When i was a youth, i worked across the street from a fournos (a greek bakery and deli sort of situation, idk if you have it there) and in the summer my colleagues and i would get their freezoccinos (frozen cappuccino) and they were sooo good.
Thanks for sharing!
Yess love this!! My Husband makes pour-over iced coffee every Sunday afternoon, I need to add some flavored syrup to boost it!! I also love using condensed milk so I don’t have to add so much sugar!!
