My skincare regimen has always centered around hydration. It is that one step that I love the most and I feel has made a lot of difference to the well-being of my skin. A lot of products from The Body Shop Vitamin E range have been staples in my routine and I have bought them and used them specifically for hydration. They even made it to my list of skincare products that I keep on repurchasing.
Products in the range
This range has all the products from a cleanser, toner, sunscreen, day cream, night cream amongst others. You can pretty much do your entire skincare routine featuring only the products from this range. One of my favourite products fro this range was the Hydration Mist which sadly was discontinued in 2021, it was a really sad day when I found that out.
In 2021, I bought the “replacement” product for the hydration mist (as the salesperson at the shop told me), I used it as I had used the mist only to find out that it was actually a moisturiser, lol.
In the review video above I mentioned that I will use the Gel Mist as a moisturiser in the summer and report back. I did just that in January and February 2022 and I am happy to report that the product didn’t dissapoint as a moisturiser especially during hot and humid summer days. It’s super light, refreshing to apply and provides the moisture that my skin needs.
I feel like hyaluronic acid is the poster child of hydration in the skincare community and most people gravitates towards it when looking for hydrating products. This main hydration ingredient in this range is glycerine which is also a very good hydrator.
Price & availability
I would classify theis range as being priced mid-range, not too affordable but it’s also not exorbitantly pricey. The most expensive product in the range is R300. The products are available at The Body Shop (obvs.), select Clicks stores and also online on both stores.
