I’ve shared my love for moisturising shower products many a time on this blog. I love the feeling of leaving the shower with my skin feeling nourished AF, there’s no room for ashy in my life! I was very happy to get many samples of the LÓccitane en Provence Almond Shower Oil and I immediately put them to use.

I went into the shop looking to try out the Almond Supple Skin Oil, we were the only customers in the shop and I think the assistant was happy to interact because she gave us the whole experience. She had me try out a few products and used the shower oil to wash our hands. Mpilo loved the whole thing :). I ended up buying the skin oil and was given many samples of the shower oil and their face moisturiser.

The shower oil is applied and massaged onto dry skin, you then wet it in the shower. On contact with water it turns into a milky foam, you then use a bath sponge or loofah to work in into the skin.

It feels so luxurious on the skin and it smells absolutely divine. The action of massaging your skin with an oil is very relaxing and it’s something that I’ve never done before in a shower setting but I am hooked.

The sample size is 6ml and it’s more than enough to cover my whole body and it makes a whole lot of foam, so I’m happy with that. On the times that I’ve used the body oil after using the shower oil my skin feels and smells amazing

It’s a really great product and I kinda hate that I like it so much because it’s definitely a splurge spending so much on a shower oil! The LÓccitane en Provence almond shower oil comes in a variety of sizes including a 500ml refill pack. The cheapest is R135 for 75ml ranging to R595 for 500ml.
