I found my dream puffer jacket

Definitely not a fashion girlie but I am so excited about finding exactly what I wanted for this winter.

My current puffer jacket is just about 10 years old. It needed an update, I wasn’t so crazy about the colour and the length anymore. So I knew that this year I wanted an ankle length puffer in black. I’m a tall person (169cm) so finding any type of clothing that fits long on me has been a lifelong challenge.

I was randomly searching on Superbalist one night and came across the perfect puffer from Me&B for R1500. I went to the store website and by my luck they had a 20% discount – score! So I eventually ended up paying R1300 overall, an extra R100 for shipping.

It’s not as thick as I thought it would be but as I’ve worn it I’ve realised that it’s not a deal breaker. It’s very warm and waterproof. I wore it on once of the very rainy winter days we’ve had in June and without an umbrella, the jacket kept me dry as a bone.

I bought it in a size 36 so that it can fit well when I’m wearing bulky clothes. I do recommend sizing up.

Length-wise, even though it’s not 100% ankle length, it is still pretty long and I’m happy in that regard.

I love this jacket! I foresee myself wearing it for a many, many years.
